The Darco Rigid-Sole Post-Op Shoe has a totally rigid sole made of a non-slip, corrugated thermo-plastic rubber.  Unlike wooden soles, the TPR sole absorbs the shock created by walking, thus reducing patient discomfort and minimizing additional disturbance to the foot.  This "classic black" shoe has a comfortable foam inner sole and is available in either a durable vinyl / hook-and-loop upper (pictured) or a canvas / lace-up upper.  The rigid-sole shoe fits either the left or right foot.
